ATV Accident Lawyer

With the amount of people injured or killed in ATV accidents growing at a startling rate, the question arises as to who is to blame? ATVs are much less regulated by government then other modes of transportation. Only 10 states require riders to wear helmets and only 13 require that the operator has a drivers license. ATVs continue to get faster and faster every year yet the safety features are not being upgraded.

ATV Accidents And Children

The widespread use of ATVs by American children has spurred a 25 percent jump over three years in the number of ATV injuries involving kids, a new study reveals. Boys between the ages of 11 and 15 accounted for more than half of all ATV injuries involving children in the period analyzed by researchers.  By reviewing U.S. Census figures and medical charts from 66 hospitals, it has been estimated that nearly 109,000 children aged 15 or younger sustained ATV riding accidents requiring emergency room care between 2001 and 2003.
